Ok there is 2 trains of thought of broadheads for Turkeys, expandables the bigger the better and Guillotine type heads. Anybody have experience with Guillotine type heads, did you have to go with a longer stiffer arrow to keep it away from your hand/sights?

I have not had experience with those. I have always done well with the heads I use for other game.

I kno w a fellow well that shot one with a guillotine broad head in the neck and it bounced off and the gobbler started strutting and gobbling. Personally I shoot them with a solid 3 blade broad head, a VPA 160 grain out of my recurve. Have taken a few this way. I also use a heavy wood arrow same setup as deer hunting. Good luck!
