Nope, put my app in a few weeks ago for CO Unit 55 mule deer and bear. Should get drawn for mule deer but not so sure on bear?

I’ve drawn a Colorado deer tag four years in a row. Point only for me. Corona was a minor factor in not applying.

Curious about Kansas apps. The $550 tab might be a little harder to swallow this year?

Applied for a mule deer in Colorado. I'll still go OTC bull elk even if I dont draw. Oklahoma and maybe Alaska are on the list.

Yes sir put in for my Kansas deer tag on the first. This virus cancelled my Kodiak brown bear hunt this month. Next spring what’s another year.

Put in for NM elk, more to go with a good friend. Tough units to draw.

I'll be fine either way.

I have a feeling there will be a lot of returned tags this year in CO. Funds are tight and after this is all over, I have a feeling people won’t have the luxury of burning a bunch of vacation days.

It's gonna be REAL interesting seeing how all of this plays out this fall. Vacation for my wife, a nurse, has been indefinitely suspended; and the virus hasn't really even arrived here as of yet, if it arrives at all.

Our group is in again. Hunting the property next to Thornton's "Farm" if we draw. He'll be busy fighting Covid so we may just sneak over the fence and smoke a couple of his rifle bucks before his rifle season starts. :)

JK Thornton. Appreciate you being there on the front lines. Hope you're well!

Fact or fiction, Nonresident apps up 27% from last year.

Fiction I would say they are down with this mess.

It would surprise me if applications were up 27% from last year. I think all states and most departments , agencies and businesses will suffer from restricted travel and uncertainty as far as future travel. Doesn’t look like college football will be a go as scheduled . I will take a $4,000.00 hit from season tickets if that holds. Maybe a credit for tickets costs but the donation will not be refunded . Had to cancel my Kansas turkey hunt this year . If this situation remains the same in the fall I will drive and bypass the airports and rental truck if fortunate to draw. Best wishes to all.

Yup Walter I agree and I will do the same.
