Today they published the results. Anyone get lucky?

As per usual, here's my result:

[[["Sorry, you were not selected for the 2020 Elk Quota Hunt. Thank you for applying and supporting Kentucky’s elk program!"]]]

No joke. You will hit the powerball first. LOL.

I think I read one time that if you're a non-resident and put in for a bull archery (either sex) tag, the odds are 50,000 to 1 in drawing. Oh well... someone's going to get it, so I keep putting in every year.

I did read over on the LeatherWall that some guys, nephew's daugher's husband drew a cow tag.

We would have a better chance at a Mothman tag.

Lol. But like jim said someone has to win it.

OUCH!!!!!

I looked up a few outfitters after your post. I had no idea. Now I see why you can just buy a landowner tag down there.

Pay to play.

Supply and demand. Sell 10 sheep hunts a year and you can keep up a 40, ooo acre ranch for wildlife instead of turning cattle and goats loose on it . If the demand wasn’t there they couldn’t charge what they do . Plus if they have desert mule deer and some coues deer it’s a big bonus for them too

I don’t want one that bad to pay that for it.

No, those prices are ridiculous, but they wouldn’t be charging that much if they weren’t getting it. Only way I’ll ever get a chance at one is if I draw a tag in AZ or NV before I die

I agree. It's supply and demand.

I don't play the lottery. Which is why I think "this" year is going to be different concerning KY elk draw. I get so excited that I actually convince myself I'm going to win. And, every year I get let down. Must be the same feeling those addicted to the lottery feel when they don't win the powerball.

Got to play to win

You can't post a nice bull like that without some details. Where, what bow, what broadhead, what arrows, how far did you shoot, did you call, ambush or stumble on to him?

There are rules against leaving us hanging. :^)
