So how many grain would it take to change a 350 spine arrow to change it to say a 400 spine arrow. Out of a 65 pound draw 29.5 draw. with and IBO of 343? right now I have 100 grains of brass up front then a 100 grain feild point. shooting victory decimator 350. thank

With 200 grains on the front end now you're probably moving close to 400 spine. You may see some slight difference changing to a 145 point. There is the option of adding more weight to the point by using Gold Tip weights that screw into the back of the point insert. I'd guess that seventy grains would make a noticeable difference.

Thanks I have some 50 grain brass inserts and 100 grain feild point so I'll be at 150 up front In Stead of 200. Maybe see a difference with that?

Don't go lower or the dynamic spine will be greater. I think you may need to keep the 100 and and another 50-70 plus the field point.

Or just buy a couple 400s and try them.

by the time you buy heavier inserts and heavier broadheads you could just buy new arrows in whatever spine you are looking for

I have all the brass wts for the inserts all ready I have 350 spine and like the arrow I just want to know how much weight up front I can get away with before it is under spined. With 200 grains up front and about 19 % foc I can group broadhead . Is that good enough?
