Anyone have info they are willing to share about unit 50 on elk? 1st year I’m hunting it and would appreciate any feedback, thanks

Never hunted it but I have hunted the units on both sides. Are you archery hunting? I think the majority of the elk will be up higher in the units on both sides at that time. I would recommend finding every bit of water you can, as far away from roads as you can, and scout for sign.

We hunted there last year 2nd archery hunt. Worst hunt ive ever been on. Its a wintering range. We saw two cows the whole time we were there. Try pot mountain stay on top and hope for rain.
