Spike Bull (cow?)

During the archery season, can you shoot a cow elk in a spike bull unit?

During the archery season, if in an open bull area, you can shoot a bull, spike, calf or cow. In a spike area, you can shoot a spike, cow or calf. In a Limited entry area, you can shoot a cow, calf or the bull that you have the tag for. Bottom line is, cows, spikes and calfs are open state wide unless you are on private property. Trick is finding them and then getting close enough for a shot.
