The majority of farm visits are complete, and there has been a Similar theme everywhere I go. Deer are worse than ever before
Reports of 20+ in a single field are not uncommon.
Farmers are referring to the deer as “cattle”. Lol

I tell guys to set up at this road crossing every year. And rarely does anyone take me up in it cause it’s one of the Northampton farms. In 5 mins of sitting there, I had 3 deer come through last nigh

I'm getting an impressive number of doe on the farm I hunt in 5C. Fair number of young bucks but nothing too impressive so far. I'm in Northern montco just below the berks line

I finally finished with the map updates for this years 5C Hunt. For those of you who have participated over the years, you know that we sometimes lose some of our farms due to attrition (farms being sold, etc). And this year is no different, as we lost one chunk of huntable land. BUT the good news is that every acre lost was replaced 3 fold to new land acquisitions. Expanded access on a few of the existing farms as well as 3 brand new farms added to our arsenal !!!!

Thanks, Smoke, for all the organization and preparation you do to make the hunt successful. It’s nice to be able to participate in hunting these “target rich” properties and sharing camp with fellow UBPA hunters. These updates get me pumped! I have 2 tags and I am planning to be there Wednesday afternoon through Friday morning. Dalton won’t be along this year since we are heading to Pittsburgh for opening weekend with my brother.

We did a final run out to the campsite this morning, and are working with the owner to provide additional electric hookups this year, and into the future. If you are planning to bring a camper out, please be reminded to not arrive until after noon time on Wednesday, and that someone from the committee will assign parking for the available sites.

Great seeing everyone Saturday evening at the pig roast. Glad julie and I came down. Would of been the 3rd year in a roll missing it. Always a great time. Kudo's to the committee that word so hard making this a fun event. Ed

Hi everyone, HSY93 on HuntingPa.com messaged me about this site and specifically the 5C camp and hunt. I am a 5C hunter who did not harvest a deer this year despite my efforts. Lack of property is the problem for me. Looking forward to joining in the adventure of the next 5C camp and hunt with you. Until then I have a Red Tag list that came in the mail. Need to get on the phone with the land owners.
