Check the cams on the bait plots yesterday and have a pick of an 8pt already rubbing. The 9pt has lost some velvet on one of his tips. It seems a little early for rubbing. I'm use to getting cam vids of rubbed bucks in 1st to 2nd week of Sept.

Killed an 8pt with my truck on Labor Day once. Antlers were bare with some velvet still stuck to the top of his head.

saw both this past weekend. Some were rubbed and others were not. I sat with my grand daughter and had a spike and 4 pt within 30 yards and she let them go. Both were in velvet. Someone hit the 4pt and took a chunk out of the top of his back. He was getting around OK and eating clover when we saw him.
