Thanks! He is my first bear, so I really don't have anything to compare against. I'm hoping the hide makes for a nice rug.
There are lots of bears down south, but the central mountains have a robust population as well. He came out of the Manzano Mountain Wilderness.
I was hunting solo, and having a tough time positioning him, so the photos leave a little something to be desired.
