Sorry to hear this! Prayers to his family and friends!
Great pics Art! I know a few of those folks. ;-)
Is that the place where Dale got that big hog one year?

He got a hog there but not the big one. That was Tennessee.

Sorry to hear Art,
Dale was a good guy, and always willing to fill a void if the opportunity happened to arise with the DHP. Glad we were able to provide some great memories.

Thanks for your comments guys. I just had a hernia repair and I am recovering from that. Still not getting around too good. Besides being such a good friend Dale was very dedicated to our cause. He would do anything he could in spite of his limited ability. He helped me at shows all over western PA from Erie to Pittsburgh and even brought his wife along to help stuff envelopes on occasions.

This was in Tenneessee at Bridge Creek. He took a 400pound boar. We had to buy extra coolers to get the meat home.

I met Dale the first day of Junior High football practice in 1966. I was glad he was on our team and I did not have to play against him.

We had a really nice memorial service today. His kids were even able to get a nice camo urn for his ashes. I got to speak, with a little difficulty, about our long friendship and was able to bring some laughter to a rather solemn event. His cousin, international opera star, Mariann Cornetti sat behind us in the pew and sang during the service. Wow.

Was notified tonight that Dale passed away. Dale was truly one of a kind. He was an amazing person. I have seen or spoken to him in some years but I spent many days hunting with Dale whether at Art's farm or his house. I have never met someone more enthusiastic about deer hunting and never once let his disability prevent him from being in the woods. He will be missed and I will be thinking about him this season and many more to come. RIP Dale
