Was a pitcher on the famous 1960 Pirates team. Got to meet him at our church, he was a real gentleman. Used to go to Forbes Field with my Dad and got to watch some of the old Pirates.

Really neat older ad, thanks for sharing it!

I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Law and several other members of the 1960 team over the years. Ironically, my dad lives about 5 minutes from Bill Mazeroski. I was pumping gas down the road from my dad's about 20 years ago and Mr. Mazeroski pulled into the pump next to me. I stopped at my dad's and said, "You're never going to believe who I just saw at the gas station". My dad said, "I'm not surprised, he lives about 5 minutes form there". Small world and still the greatest home run ever hit IMO.
