Has anyone hunted deer and duck near Dallas City. Have a friend whose willing to lease some property along the Mississippi for deer, duck, goose. How's the population out there in regards to deer? I assume waterfowl is good since its along the Mississippi but can't find to much info on how the deer population is out there. Any info would be appreciated!

Never hunted there, however, rivers seem to always hold good quality deer. Roll the dice and take the lease. You may have more luck with your question on the main bowsite.

I’d look on the IDNR site for harvest numbers and then skim Pope & Young entries for bucks from that county.

Henderson had 264 last year down from 315.
