I haven’t hunted in at least ten years...I got the urge this summer and started practicing with my longbows...went out with my brother and son ...fifteen minutes after I got on watch she showed up...she came in like she was on a string and turned giving me a perfect broadside shot... my right elbow hit the tree just as I was coming to full draw so the shot was a little farther forward than I would have liked...she trotted off about 75 yards and I saw her wobbling as she walked off another 25 yards and lay down... very thankful and happy at 69 to get my first deer with a longbow..
