I saw a couple of pictures on Instagram of bears taken with muzzle loaders but not with a bow or other piece of (legal) archery equipment.

Have my first ever trail cam pic's of a bear on my property from two weeks ago. He's not around enough to hunt him, but it's cool to finally get pics of him. This was my second photo, the other was a couple hundred yards away over a month ago.

Well I'm on vacation all this week, I wonder why? :) Anyway Its calling for snow possibility tonight. If so im going to a state game lands by my house that has a big swamp. Going to look for tracks. I have cam pics from up till iO pulled them in September with bear, but i have not been up there since. The last few years when we have snow I aways have found tracks. Lets hope tomorrow is the same. Two weeks ago I helped a buddy pack one out in Jefferson county. We weighed it on a scale that night, not field dressed, at 427lb. Took it the next day for check in and the CO measured and estimated the dressed weight at 480lb haha. Did not have a scale on location.

LOL! I guess that’s why they call it “ESTIMATED LIVE WEIGHT!” ;-)
