Emiquon Wolves?

Anyone hear of any wolf sightings near Emiquon? I was driving through the area this morning and saw what appeared to be a wolf just north of the Spoon River overflow. Very large and dark canine much heavier than a coyote with black back and dark gray sides....just curious if there have been any confirmed sightings in the area

Sounds like one I hunted for years in will county. Sumbich gave me a start first time I saw him. Been chasing his offspring ever since. Big freaking coydog !

Wolves are a no go in IL. Better be able to prove its a coydog. There are gray wolves in I'll, not many hit the exsist,.

Ive watched these coydogs when the first coyotes in the area started breeding with the marina dogs back in the early 80s. There were definitely some interesting color combos for a few years lol.

DNR does concede the existence of coydogs. They are more aggressive than yotes in my experience.

Should have watched them harass the cattle. Pretty bold sobs
