Bowhunting Gun Season

I quit hunting the gun season several years ago, but since they started allowing archery equipment for the gun season a few years ago I find myself going out and hunting the gun season again, but with my bow. Anybody else enjoy bowhunting the gun season?

I’m out with my bow. It just doesn’t feel right not to have the bow in the tree with me.

Absolutely, I even killed an eleven point last year on opening day with my Centaur longbow.

There are a few areas in Northern Illinois that have archery only areas that allow bow hunting during gun seasons.
