Public ground near witchita mt game rese

Just got to thinking coming to witchita mountains for my sons elk hunt rather sit in the truck while he hunts I'd like to find some public ground close I could deer hunt while hes in the refuge. If anyone can tell me of any or a place to look it up i would greatly appreciate it. It would need to be close so i can get down and out if he needs help. Thanks in advance
