in the late 60,s early 70,s I owned the best bow ever, Staghorn recurve, made in merril Wi. Sold that bow to buy first compound, Mistake, I loved that bow, Looking to buy 1 < If you have one or see one please let me know,

There is a guy still in merril that makes longbows. NewWood Longbows is the name of the company. Very nice shooting bow.

What poundage do you want ? A friend in town owns about 15 Staghorns . I own two lefthanded stags & a Rh 30lb kids bow . they are a thing of Beauty. Living in Merrill where they were made helps .I run into them now & then .

Expect to pay between 3 & 4 big ones . I know another person in town that has about 25 . He is getting up there in years & may be ready to part with some .
I'll take a pic of my Zebra wood . I showed it to a LH trad guy in Greenbay , he offered me stupid money & I said no .

I'm thinking Staghorn is still in business making bows. Of Course not with Bill or Elle Pyle but I think the company has been re-started again. Maybe google the name or check some trad websites. Good luck.

One of their kids, or grandkids, has all of the original stuff and still makes a few a year. They have a website with some for sale, I remember looking at the website a year or 2 ago.
