Another 190 +/- deer found dead in Kanawha river by guy cleaning out around London locks just downriver from Montgomery. They think about 12-15 inches of antler was missing. It can’t be officially be scored because skull plate was broken. This is eastern Kanawha county close to Fayette county. No where close to any AG , only mountains and reclaimed strips. WV can grow big deer if given the chance to grow up. This deer as well as the Wyoming county deer didn’t have access to soybean or corn crops .

Wow I shot that deer over here in Pendleton county. I couldn’t find him. I never dreamed he would get that far

Just imagine the adrenaline rush you’d get seeing that rack at 50 yds and closing. Hope he had a HUGE harem..

I’m sure with his age he got around as much as he could. Deer aren’t territorial and don’t form harems like elk do. Current research shows that the average buck, regardless of age only successfully breeds 3-4 does per year
