I have a resident Ks either species/either sex statewide archery tag. If I am reading the regs correctly. That tag is valid for the antlerless season with "any" weapon. Is that correct? I am planning on going out with the rifle to shoot a doe for jerky and summer sausage. I was going to go buy an antlerless tag, but if I am reading it correctly my tag I have will work.

All permits revert to whitetail-antlerless only. Have fun.

I think he knows that writer? Thinking he wants to know if a rifle can be used, even though his original tag was archery.

Any weapon is legal, be sure to wear orange regardless of which you choose. Yes your tag is valid as antlerless, be sure to check your unit for dates, they are not all the same

Thanks guys. Yes, I was mainly asking if that "archery only" tag went to "any" legal weapon for the antlerless season.
