Its been a long year. I have had the pleasure taking 3 new hunters to enjoy this activity we all love and enjoy. I took my friend to hunt desert mulies for his first time hunting anything other than white tails over corn in Texas, he was able to harvest a nice velvet buck on the last day. A week later I was elated to join my brother (disabled Iraq veteran) and my nephew on his OIL stallion range oryx hunt and wow what an experience, he harvested a nice bull and is hooked!!! Lastly my wife drew a unit 12 elk last rifle, we got on bulls but never sealed the deal great overall experience though.. Finally its my turn, unit 22 archery tag, a week solo in the woods never sounded so appealing, I head out first thing in the AM wish me luck and happy hunting to anyone out there that still has a tag!!
