Unit 10 archery elk preference points

Any idea on how points it takes to get a unit 10 archery elk tag? 20 to 21pts

Last year: 21+ points 100% draw. 20 points 30%, 3 out of 10 drew.

Hunt 10 when you can. Great bulls there too, basically the same elk. Never know what the upcoming new Commission will do to screw up the point system.

Yes agree!!! I'm a 5th generation native of Loveland and just very disappointed in CPW. Need to take care of those tax paying colorado residents way better!!

21-22 points might get you in 10. It’s a great hunt that is getting tougher and tougher every year as the four NW units get more popular. People everywhere during the season. Wish Non-tag holders would respect the hunters more and wait to do their recreating/scouting outside the hunting seasons. Glad I got my U10 hunt done in 2018.

I had a Unit 10 tag in 2019 and had a great time. Mbako my hunt was very difficult but awesome. I had to hunt very hard for three weeks straight before I finally arrowed a nice bull. Myself and many others summarized our experiences a few pages back here on bowsite under the thread titled “Feedback of veterans of GMU's 2, 10, 201”. Was worth the 20 years it took me to draw.
