Hard to believe another year has come and our annual trip to Osceola Outfitters is over. We had our usual great time in Florida even though the weather was unusually cool--low to mid-30's in mornings and mid-50's to mid-60's during the day.
Here's a picture of Roger and his son-in-law, Bob. This was Bob's first trip but I'm sure it won't be his last. Roger took a hog with a self bow, wood arrows with a flint head that Don Hoffman made for him. I couldn't believe how sharp and efficient those things were.

It was a pleasure hunting with this group. I was a little "awe struck" by some of the stories which I am sure that at least 50% had to be true. Hunting with my father-in-law was fantastic and sharing the experience with everyone else was fantastic. The one thing that really was incredible was setting around the lodge and listening to the experiences from each person. As far as I can figure their was more than 300 years of bowhunting experience. What a trip! Hope to share it again.
