So thinking of making the trip to north Dakota to do a diy archery trip for whitetail this fall. Was told and by research it looks as the tag is otc so no need to apply and plenty of tags. Question I have is do you need to pick a zone or unit? Having a hard time figuring this part out or is the whitetail tag good state wide?

Whitetail tag is good statewide.

Nd is a very hunter friendly state. Any public land with trees get some pressure. My advice is just put on alot of miles driving and glossing. Contact landowner and do some stalking I've slipped up to quite a few dandy bucks while hunting coyotes. Good luck.

Boone ive looked at the northeast corner of the state. around Pembina - Wahalla right up against the canada border. BIG size drainage,,,but floods every year. I would be interested in maybe getting something together. John
