Old antlers in possession

My friends Dad passed away recently and the family doesnt know what to do with his antlers, he hunted for years (he was 93) and collected road kill as well. Barn full of old racks, some newer tags, some tags faded, some tags have fallen off on barn floor and some no tags around. What is the law about these?

Just in case you read this old post, cut them into lengths and sell as dog chews. Personally I wouldn't let my dog chew on them but a lot of folks think they are good chews and will pay for them.
