Seasons just around the corner.what your weapon preference? Stick bow,compound,shotgun,even crossbow.I'm taking my Mossberg 500 ,20 gauge this spring.just not proficient with my bow enough for the birds.

I will use both my compound bow and shotgun this year. I have a few places that are conducive to sitting in a blind and using my bow. Then I have places down in the hill country of southern Ohio where I will use a shotgun because it's more convenient for running and gunning.

I will do both but I really prefer bowhunting out of a blind with decoys. But, I have to say that my area of Ohio absolutely sucks for turkey hunting. In one day at my property in NY, I will see more birds than I have in the entire year in Carroll County OH. It's not even worth setting up my blind.

Pat, were loaded down here in Clermont and Adams co! If run and gunning I’ll use my shotgun, if roosting them night before, and gonna sit I’ll use my longbow or recurve
