Platte River Turkeys

Heading out to try and arrow a river bottom turkey on the Platte River near the Colorado Border. Turkey hunted quite a bit but not around here. When during the season are the turkeys gobbling and most active? Thanks!

I hunted in Ne last three days, just east of Torrington Wy, in Ne. Two of three days the wind was 30 mph, an hour of horizontal snow. They were pretty flocked up and not very responsive to calls or decoys. One two year old came in, fanned at nine yards. I Texas heart shot him. He ran 20 yards and died. A friend with me also arrowed one. We each had two tags and never came close to punching the second one.
