A pic of Alfred Hitchcock out on the KS Flinthills surveying the cattle on “his” ranch. My understanding is the pic was taken around the late 1950’s to early 1960’s. I also understand back at the time that he owned this little piece of the KS Flinthills...so did a handful of other celebrities that were investing in KS land and cattle. Sorry, I used to know what general area/town it was located in but unfortunately don’t remember.

Thought it was pretty interesting history to share and was the last person I would have guessed to own a little bit of KS. Pretty obvious who worked the land and cattle!

A local connection to the Clutter incident?

This was in Flinthills. Didn’t the Clutter killings happen near Holcomb, KS....way out west?

That was Capote, not Hitchcock Davey

Alfalfa, from Our Gang, worked a farm he had near Pretty Prairie.
