We are in Armstrong County and usually shop online; like everyone else we try to get the most bang for our buck which includes free/reduced shipping and/or sales on seed. We've just started to talking food plots and what we are planting this year. So far, its going to be oats, turnips and another cover crop (unsure which one yet) and maybe radishes. To save time from searching and searching again, we were wondering where everyone gets their seed (local or on-line) and what's everyone planting this year? We're new at this, (this will be second year), but we had pretty decent results with turnips and oats last year. Plots are greenish/brown and mowed off, turnips long gone! Thanks in advance for any and all info!! Oh, we have 5 plots probably 4 acres total.

We get all of our seed local, i haven't found anywhere online that ships for free and shipping costs are a lot of times more than what the seed costs. The last two years we have been doing a mix of cereal rye and austrian winter peas and the deer just hammer these plots.
