I’ve looked for years, probably will again this year.

Rarely do I find enough to make a meal out of for the family.

One Arrow - They are hard to see this year. Have to go slow and be patient. I focus around trees that are damaged but still alive, rather than aimlessly wondering around. Cottonwood, elm, ash. Seldom under hedge.

Last year I was finding most all of mine under or around ceder trees. Probably head out in the next day or so.

Don’t be surprised if you come back with a bunch more freckles.....that aren’t really freckles. They gonna be bad this year!
