I was out this am in Morgan Co. 1990's seemed like turkey where everywhere here and statewide, Not so much anymore. It's over,,

Turkey numbers are down in my area of Huron County. Hunter participation is still high. This is evident with the season opening on the weekend this year. I believe there need to be changes made to the spring bag limit state wide and a temporary closure of the fall season in counties where it is justified. We will have to wait until season is over and see what the state harvest number is county by county. Then we'll need to see the ODOW make wise decisions to preserve quality turkey hunting for the future.
