I think the land owners receive their authorizations in late May . Last year they didnt get them until very late June or July it was a mess as the GAME DEPT changed the eplus program. The documents said May this year I believe. I do know that once the land owners get thier LO tags , about a week later the game dept releases the land owner list and its a mad dash to get elk tags and if the stories are true of 280K applications there will be even more people looking for and willing to pay higher prices for elk tags...
