Found this guy in the driveway and decided he really needed to go away. Took him out in the NF and let him go. The plywood is the lid to a box that I transported him in. AZ Black Rattlesnake.

Used a rake to persuade him into the box, box was from a javalina mount so pretty good sized. Closest I got to it was putting the lid on the box, respect.

The Arizona Blacks are a pretty docile rattler when I've run across them. Probably the best of the breed to give a second chance (but still not a fan of rattlesnakes!).
