So, I was super-fortunate this year to draw both a CO moose tag and a CO ram tag. Also drew a unit 32 bull elk tag in Wyoming (just across the border from CO unit 2 & 201). I know, Crazy! What a ride this will be. Anyway, there is one other ram tag in CO S7 and I'm trying to reach out and see if I can find that person. I believe that the two of us can work together and make a better experience for everyone. Please let me know if you're out there. I can try to use the CPW for this, but thought I'd try a forum first. Thanks
I can’t help you, but I’m sure your draw luck will spur conspiracy theories, so I will add to them, I also drew a ram tag and a bull moose tag this year, and I know of another person that did as well, all in different units!
Congrats on your exceptional luck in the draws!
I know from past trying, that CPW won't give you the other guy's contact info. Unless maybe you have an insider source who's willing to break their rules.
You might check Huntin Fool also, esp if you're a member, as I believe they have a system for getting tag holders in touch with one another. Also MonsterMuleys forum is another board with a very large membership that'd be worth trying.
Congratulations on beating the odds! Sounds like at least one of you was not able to participate in the CPW sheep web meetings this past Saturday. I see on the schedule there was an S7 breakout session. That would have been a good opportunity to exchange info if you both were able to be on it.
If you need a decoy, I have one I will never use again. Let me know.
RMBS is sponsoring a 'meet and greet' on July 26 at No limits Archery. Lots of info and maybe a chance to meet your new best friend.

Great idea to RSVP for the RMBS meet and greet. It will be held on July 24. See link.
Thank you for the replies. Hoot: You and I should buy lotto tickets. Crazy! I was actually not excited when I got the "successful" email for the moose tag. It was the 3rd big tag I drew. It was more like "Oh sh#t, now what do I do?". The breakout session with CPW was only me - other guy/gal didn't show up. I'd like to go to the July 24 meet and greet. Just have a scouting trip planned for moose near Crested Butte. Thanks again fellas.

Seeing sheep every trip, just no shooters yet. Know they're there though. Gonna trek a bit more to the North side of the unit. We'll find em.
Imo, scouting is half the fun. I spent every weekend and then some in July until season the year I had a tag. Good luck!
Good luck on all the tags! It will be busy....and a bit of a let down when the whirlwind dies down.
Years ago I had a fall like that....AZ archery bull elk tag, CO Unit 2 archery bull elk tag, UT excellent unit archery mule deer buck tag, CO unit 3/301 archery antelope tag and a Georgetown 2nd choice ewe tag. Way too many tags to do them justice! But it was super fun! And my wife had to retrain me after we got reacquainted when it was over!
Thanks. Busy, indeed. If I don't get fired or divorced it'll be luck.
You know it's easier to get another job or wife then another sheep tag. J/K kinda.
For once I agree 100% with Orion. HAHAHA! It may be easier but not cheaper to get a new wife.

Fortunate to get a good ram in S7. Rifle kill, but I'm very happy. Had to cross the river, so that made for an interesting stalk and pack-out at night.
Congrats on your success!
Thank you guys. It has been quite a ride this last 5 months or so. All the scouting. The moose in Sep. Then this ram in Oct. Now, the elk in Wyo next week. Hard to put into words, but it feels that I can't do each hunt it's justice. It's all a bit of a blur. When it's all over, I don't know how I'll crash. One thing's for sure, it's been a great reason to get together with the family and do stuff.
Congrats on the ram! Did he have a collar?
Kinda looks like this one.
"doing stuff is good" Well done, great sheep. my best, Paul
Thanks again.
CO Oak: Yup, same ram. CPW called me about it and it was collared in 2015 when the ram was 2-1/2 yo. Makes him 8-1/2 yo. An old VHF collar, so no good to them so they said for me to keep it. Very nice pics you got there. Curious on the location and year, if you remember? Thanks!
They are not my photos, but they were supposedly taken Sept. 19 of this year, between Bootlegger and Spike Buck Gulches. I assume you harvested after, or my date is wrong. Congrats again on the ram. Kinda cool that you get to keep the collar.
