Turkey season changesContributors to this thread:

Looks like the ODWC have made some changes to the turkey regulations. Season has been changed to April 16th- May 16th and there will be a one tom limit statewide for the spring season and more. What do you guy's think? Personally feel it's over due and a good step in the right direction.
Yep, LONG time coming. I’ve watched the turkeys dwindle since 2008/09. Last turkey I killed (in OK) was in in the SE part of the state in 2010. I just haven’t had the urge to kill something with failing populations.
I am glad they made the changes, I hope it’s not too late. I’m really glad they also made fall season gobblers only and also a 1 bird statewide limit.
Way over due!! Hopefully this will help the population rebound.

I wish the predators would read the regs. A flock around my house went from 9 poults to 5 pretty quickly. It's stayed at 5 for quite a while now.
