I am trying to remember, I believe that I received this bow from my dad when I was 12. Still have it. I am trying to find out some information about it, especially the string length. All help is very welcomed. Thanks, bwhntr1953

Typically a recurve string length is 4" shorter than bow length. So, a B-50 or B-55 dacron flemish twist string would be 58" for this bow.

not sure how old you are but the Pearson Cougar 7050 came out in about 1972 the gentleman is correct about the string length generally. That bow should have a fistmele of 7 1/4- 8" B55 is a good choice on string as well. I also have a 7050.
