Moose HD 106

My son Drew a Moose tag for HD 106. Its a large area South and East of Libby, north of Hwy 2. Just wondering is anyone is familiar with this area and could provide a drainage or two where we might start. We are in Missoula but do most of our hunting in the Belts or Judiths. Thanks for your help.

Moose district 106 - Fisher River 106-50 Antlered Bull. I sent you some info.

Humm ONX shows that district as 103

I think in onXmaps you have to change what Big Game animal you are looking at. Go to - Map Layers/MT Hunting District/Layer Settings, Then select Moose. But this will de-select whatever other animal you are currently looking at.

Thanks NWMontana14. It is the Fischer River unit. Can't get in at the moment as all Stimpson land is closed due to fire danger. Lets hope for rain!!

Bow hunted moose in that unit one fall. Any info would be a little stale since it was 1986.
