Know anyone who went out early season?

I know there were new early season dates for gun and other hunting implements. Did anyone go or do you know of anyone going out? I've talked to a couple of guys and no one went out.

Don't know anyone. Most guys i've talked to thought it was a stupid idea by DEC.

Was too hot for my buddy, but he went for a nuisance hunt the day before this special season. So not much difference if the time of year is considered.

Not me, but saw a bunch of does killed with bow in 3S (westchester) on instagram.

I shot a real mature doe opening day. Went back out twice more with my 5 and 7 year old daughters.
