I have been out 7 times and have seen bucks and does 5 of those 7 sits

Been out 6 am’s and saw deer 5 of them. Yesterday am the first buck, a wide 2 1/2 year old with only 4 points, but he was definitely on the prowl. Also seeing more scrapes and rubs in the last couple days. We are getting close to go time.

Been passing a ton of young bucks. Finally had a big bodied fairly mature buck come by on 11/12. He was making a scrape and one grunt brought him in on. A string.

I shot a 5.5 year old buck yesterday with A self bow my buddy made me and knapped heads another buddy made me. Perfect heart shot and he was down in seconds.
