Hit a nice buck a little far back Tuesday night. Called Slifers bloodhound service out of Watson Illinois. They arrived at 0900 Wednesday morning and by 1015 we had the buck recovered and loaded. Ron and Gary did a super job along with Eos the hound

Nice deer, Carl! Did you get him in your back yard? Tom

Congratulations! Very nice buck. Wish I had had that service available a few times over the years.

Deer hunter. Hunt long enough and it will happen. It’s really good that Illinois now allows this service. These guys have been very busy for the last week or more

Nice buck and congratulations! Just out of curiosity, what did they charge for their tracking service? I don't hunt too far from Watson and could possibly use them if I ran into that issue. Thanks

Congratulations, nice buck. I used a tracking dog last year even though I really didn’t need it but it didn’t hurt to use them.

I shot a deer but I didn’t see the hit and I had very little blood. To be on the safe side I called out a dog and we found the deer within 75 yards from where I hit him.

This is in northern Illinois and he works on tips. I think mine was $100. He’s on Facebook, search Diesel deer track’n dog.

They don’t charge. Pay what you think is fair. They drove an hour to get here and an hour back. Helped drag out the deer and were here about an hour and a half. I gave them $200 for two guys and the dog. I was well satisfied

Had never heard of Watson but it's only a little over an hour north of me. I'll keep them in mind the next time the need arises. Thanks for the tip!

Wish I had a dog service near me, hit a doe last week and no deer. Went back the next day and looked for 5 hours, zip.

Thank you for that info on price, and I definitely think that's fair. Well worth the money to recover the animal!

Any northern Illinois dog teams?

Talk about a dream job for a dog! The only job better than this, would be the one that the Border Collies have chasing geese off the golf courses!

Idk woods walker i think a stud service would be on the top of the list for a dog
