Dover Bay bear hunting

I'm looking into going to Dover Bay gameland for the December season to bear hunt just curious if anybody has hunted it or has hunted public land NC bears and could give me so info on how to hunt them I see there's a canal on the gameland is it navigable by canoe if so I think it'll give me more access to get further into the gameland and help with recovery also what are common food sources for these bears in December and has anyone had luck calling to NC bears any info is appreciated thanks
