I guess the point is that even in states which “don’t have any cougars” it’s really not all that difficult to get a picture of one given how many trail-cams are out there.
And that big boy looks pretty well fed!

In the early 90's, my dad's buddy swore he saw a lion standing on the cliffs of mattatuck on the south bound side of rt 8 just outside of Thomaston. With all of us in the snow covered woods and all the trail cams in the woods...I have a hard time believing it. Who's gonna be the first one to put a bale of catnip in front of a camera?
