Yea , after shotgun season it gets real tough. It's not bad at the opener at the end of October, they take some decent bucks. They culled there a few years back and it still hasn't come back. I shotgun hunted there 3 years ago, 3 days and not one deer seen. Not one killed. You have to go to the northern most part of the park , seems to be where the deer are and then they close the park at christa,s and open up oak point. 10 guys allowed in and they don't kill deer.
