mock scrape

I made a mock scrape the other day around 2:30 in the afternoon. I cleared an area of about 2' in diameter. I sprayed a buck scent on the scrape and set up a game camera around 6' away from it. I got a picture the following morning (9:30) of a huge 10 pointer, which I have not seen on any of my pictures. I have not seen him but have seen some smaller bucks in the last few days. I'm planning on going to refresh my pile and the scrape tomorrow morning and hunt the stand in the evening. Should I spray some doe in heat scent in the area as well? The last time I hunted was 40 years ago so this is all new to me. I'm trying to get caught up on all the lastest tactics, which work and which ones don't. Any help would be appreciated.
