new years day hog hunt

Thinking of heading down to Iowa new years day weekend to hunt some hogs anyone want to join us

I didn't even know there were hogs in Iowa! I drove down to OK once a few years ago to try to get a hog with a bow on public land. I came home empty handed (except for a ton of mosquito bites) but had a really good time. Those pigs would stay in the THICKEST stuff. No possibility to get an arrow in one where I was hunting. It was fun hunting on the move, though. Listening and following the sound of grunts was a really good change of pace from sitting patiently in a tree stand.

They need to release a few thousand of those hogs up north, be a win win
