Well just read a first.

A question was asked when hunters thought peak rut was this year. A lot of answers were November 14th. A responder responded , " That was Pre-Rut Lockdown" at his hunting area.

Am I missing something as I get older.

I’ve been hunting deer for 40 years, and just about the time I think I’m about to figure it out, it changes on me.

I’m guessing we are talking Kansas rut?

My guess, any time you have trouble finding deer, they're in some kind of "lockdown"?

Matte, maybe you just need a mental health day!

After being in Sw Kansas for a week and yet to see a Mule Deer maybe I am losing my mind. Cameras are not even catching them coming into sparse water. Yet to hear a shot North of CNG

Heard the term "November lull" this year. That was a first for me.

Matte, I saw half dozen muleys last week, all in one group. One fork and the others were does. Pathetic situation.
