A treasonous wind blowing in every freaking direction and rain softened woods made for a challenging sit. As the wind shifted so did my gaze until my head was doing laps around my neck but nothing sighted.I pulled the stand; it was good to me in Nov. No sign of a second rut yet.

When I did my midday recon on Saturday BD, I found a huge fresh scrape and a rubline leading off it...so there is something going on.

I'll be out this afternoon. Hoping the wind will have become more steady from the south at that point.
Hick, I also found a fresh rubline on Saturday. Fresh shavings lying under a few trees.
