Wyoming Antelope area 67

Hey everyone…. I am going to attempt to draw area 67 this year for antelope. Is it best to camp in this area or stay in a hotel? Where is the best place to stay if so?

I guess it depends how far you are traveling from and how long you are staying?

Both camping or a hotel are possible. There is plenty of public land to camp. Riverton is the closest big town that has quite a few hotels, groceries, McDonalds, walmart, etc. I would recommend the Hampton Inn. You never know what you'll get with some of the other hotels. Be prepared for WIND if you camp out and bring lots of water! I would make sure you pick a camping area out of the wind and have a good tent or it may end up in Nebraska. I usually rough it and camp out in my topper. I would rather camp out and enjoy the prairie rather than a hotel..but that's totally up to you.
