That's a wolf, the head is more like a dog and the feet are large.

Wolf for sure. Looks like a yearling female. What part of state?

Chippewa County. I get wolves every once in a while on trail cam. Usually in pairs and usually much easier to distinguish.

Usually get a single bobcat on cam but this year I had two at once.

Look how long the legs are. And the tail held at 45 degrees. Coyotes usually hold tail higher and shorter legs. And as mentioned big ole paws

To me the head is too small to be a Wolf. But I have only seen maybe 3 dozen wolves in my life. I do turkey hunt a place where I see wolves just about every year. Even had them belly crawling to my turkey decoy a few times. I have sent pics to the WIDNR Carnivore Specialist for answers.

It’s amazing the keen senses they have, right by the camera he new something wasn’t right and turned around immediately and left.

they are very aware of cameras, we put a camera on a deer carcass once and they dragged the carcass 20ft away from the camera. usually they are just blurs because they freak out at the pic

You got to wonder how deer survive there,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, those photos shows, how the assholes of the DNR, ruined the deer hunting of NW Wis...........................

For those that don’t have wolves yet or not many……. Pray it doesn’t get as bad as Northern Bayfield County

Target- please post those pictures on the trail camera thread as a reminder for those that forget what it's like hunting in the real world. If those critters were on their farms down here in the south, it would be a whole different ball game. There would be no more burying of their heads in the sand cause it dont impact my sanctuary.

This camera was setup south of HWY 2 about 10-12 miles. I had wolves on camera in January, February, and April. There was no shortage of wolf scat on the nearby logging roads, more than I've seen anywhere. I'll post more for those that like to grit their teeth. I sure like the Browning cameras, great images, long battery life with only (6) required

Bought these online at Scheels for $75.00 (last November). I have a couple other Strike Force models that are over 5 years old that still work great.

I have Brownings and Coverts now. I've had the best luck with Brownings on battery life, but both take great pictures and both don't miss many events.
