Hunted 12 days in 8 and got wet and my butt handed to me. I can usually get into elk but they had the worse case of lockjaw I have ever seen. Due to all the rain sitting water was a waste of time. Went to the top of Jackass knoll and got into them but 330ish was the biggest bull there. Was going to stay until today but was tired of being wet so I came home. I can't really complain. I got to hunt.

That’s too bad creed. I live in 11M and this year has been very quiet. They’re usually bugling all night behind my house this time of year, but overall, it’s been quiet. I think all this “rainforest” rain has them messed up, at least here around Flag. lol

activity in 23N was through the roof. saw lots of bulls everyday. could of killed a bull everyday but they were just not big enough. 14 days of hunting hard and came home empty but only by choice. lots of 280-320 type bulls. could not have asked for a more exciting hunt. left the big ones for the rifle hunters I guess. the country is so thick I am sure there are big boys there.

My unit one late rifle tag , as a non resident with 15 points I don’t think I could ever draw an Archery tag , I didn’t draw this rifle tag in the drawing but took a tag from the fish and game from another hunter who turned there’s in .
